Most guests fly into Liberia International Airport (LIR). Direct flights from many US and Canadian hubs land at LIR. Drive time from LIR to Gold Coast towns is about 45 to 75 minutes. We arrange private drivers from arrival to the villa or hotel.

How planning works
Twelve months out, you share dates, guest count, and vision. We confirm the setting. Six months out, we lock lodging, vendors, and the event plan. Thirty days out, we confirm arrivals, transport, dining, and the final schedule. During event week, we run the plan on the ground.
Our team is bilingual. The founder and his family split time between Dallas, Texas and Brasilito, Guanacaste. Local experts on our team have more than 20 years of Gold Coast experience. We act as the bridge between US and Canadian clients and the right people on the ground.
Monumental CR is a new company built by a team with long Gold Coast experience. Our first three retreat and celebration groups receive founding-client terms. In exchange, we ask for photography rights and a written review.

A Costa Rica destination wedding is legal planning plus guest logistics. We cover the civil ceremony and home-country registration on the first call. We cover payment in US dollars, contracts, and the deposit schedule on that same call. We cover the date-change policy before you commit.

What your guests can expect
Guests land at LIR. A driver meets them. They go to the villa or hotel. They do not need to rent a car for the week. We plan group dinners and water days. We keep the schedule simple so older guests and children can move with the group.
